Polished Smooth leather, yellow welt stitching and a heel-loop make it a must-have. A classic, the 1490 has been around since the 70s, and its Polished Smooth leather is Dr. Martens' original - super durable and polished to a high shine. Clean with a damp cloth and care with Dr. Martens Shoe Polish. Our Goodyear-welted shoes are heat-sealed and stitched. Airwairs original signature leather is firm and semi-bright. Clean with a damp cloth and care with the appropriate colored wax-based shoe polish. Run true to US size, with a little room for breathability or thicker socks. UK size on shoe.
